Project Life 2018 Cover Page

Hey Everyone! I'm so happy to share this spread with you! I made 6 DIY Kits using my stash. I recently went through all my things so I could destash and I rediscovered so beautiful many items! I also have an ridiculous amount of cards and I really wanted to use them. Kits are a big help in my process and making this layout was proof of how fun is using them!

This kit's inspiration came from the Crate Paper - Cute Girl Collection - 6 x 6 Paper Pad. I chose that paper pad first and then the journaling cards and embellishments. These alphas are the Crate Paper Snow and Cocoa Collection Black Thickers. I made these hearts with felt and my trusty Lawn Fawn Heart Dies

For my cover page I used photos printed with my Instax Share SP-2 Printer. I brought mine with this Instax bundle with a battery charger and extra prints.

I used a simple formula to make all my cards look similar using different colors.

I used the Lawn Cuts Dies - Outside In Stitched Circle Stackables to cut these circles out of project life cards. I'm also trying to use them as embellishments.

Here are the DIY Videos and the Process Video to this layout!

I hope you enjoyed them!

Pocket Life Week 48 with Citrus Twist Kits

Hi Everyone! Can you believe March is about to be over?! So crazy! I'm only 5 spreads away from finishing 2017 and I can't wait to be done!

I used the Lemon Drop March 2018 Pocket Life Kit from Citrus Twist Kits. I love the alphas from this kit!

I love all the fun photos I took this week! Fall photos are my favorite!

My title card is super simple! I just used a label to add the week number and the dates. To balance it, I created an embellishment cluster on the right.

I love to use my circle dies on my photos which to a few could be very late 80's early 90's but trends come back, right?

I love to put numbers on the photos and then write all the journaling in a card or two with the corresponding numbers.

Since I was missing a few e's I used my embossed label maker to write a few of the words. These combined with the alphas look great!

My first thought was to cover the mess around my daughter because I only wanted to catch her playing with her piano but they are proof of things she loves right now like books, drawing, and going outside.

Take a look at the process video and stay until the end to see the kit leftovers.

I hope you enjoyed these pages! Take Care!

Citrus Twist Kits:

Hi Everyone! It's been a crazy month! On top of that, it was short and jam packed of action because I have a secret project. You'll find out soon!

This is my third project with the February Pocket Life Citrus Twist Kit. Stay tuned for the kit leftover video.

I love to layer little words with washi. If you want to see how I choose my washi tape read this post

I kept my title card pretty simple. I wanted to keep the balance so I only decorated 2 corners. I love these kind of alpha stickers because they are super sturdy and they come with numbers! Yay!

My daughter is of obsessed with this Sago Mini game and in the game she takes photos of the little animals. I thought it was super cute so I included that in my album. Also, it looks like Ginger is giving Jack the evil eye! LOL That sticker looks perfect there!

The pineapple photo is actually an Ipsy card! In the back it has a little blurb about Summer. I didn't want to glue it down so I used washi to make a flap. The house is keeping it closed.

I'm in the process of editing the video so stay tuned! The March Pocket Life Kit is amazing too!

Citrus Twist Kits: Week 3 and Creativation

Hi Everyone! I had very good intentions to finish 2017 before working on 2018. But the cacti from this kit told me that I needed to work on this week.

Screenshots are a little taller than regular photos so I use PicStitch with the template with 3 vertical spaces. I moved the margins to accommodate the photos in a way the shape stays true to the screenshot. I only used 2 spaces and left the other one blank.

I am obsessed with 3x3 pockets! Spoiler Alert: You are going to see a few more of these in 2018.

I had to use this cacti paper on this spread because I attended Creativation in Phoenix during week 3. There were so many cacti in the floor! And unicorns, cats and LLAMAS!

I like to make little clusters with 3 to 5 items, I count the staples as items too.

Since there are more spaces in this page protector I can have a little extra space for fun things like this confetti pocket. Inside I have a bunch of different sequins and acrylic pieces from Elle's Studio and Color Cast Designs.

It was impossible to not use this cute cactus on this spread.
I hope you enjoyed this spread!

December Daily: Day Eight

Hey Everyone! This is Jennie sharing Day 8 of my December Daily. This day we did Gingerbread Houses which is one of our favorite holiday things activities. That's why we have so many photos. I also like to add the box of the house. Packaging is very important when I document because I always think about what things might change in 20 years.

The journal cards from December Oh Deer Me Kit are so perfect! They are double sided and there are 2 of each so you don't have to pick a side.

My daughters' drawings are also important because they grow so fast and those things change a lot. I included this one in my December Daily instead of my Project Life because it's a drawing of our Elf.

I went crazy with the December Epoxy Heart Stickers. The phrases are from the December Die Cut Pack.

This page is the back of the Gingerbread House Box. To cover the box I used the December 2017 Papers.

I used a die from Lawn Fawn to cut my photo and the paper around the paper.

I sprinkled these Tiny Red Rhinestones Stickers all around the layout. The December Die Cut Pack comes with a few journaling spots. The unicorn and the gingerbread house are from Cat Martin.

The December Vellum Stickers come with a few strips you can use as washi. I like to layer these with phrases.

I love Freckled Fawn alphas and these beautiful Red Alphas are not exception!

I hope you enjoyed the December Kit! The January is pretty amazing too!
